Job Summary
Manufacturing Technician I position involves performing electro-mechanical assembly, disassembly, rework, and testing of electronic products. The role requires the ability to read complex wiring and assembly drawings, provide technical support, and ensure compliance with safety regulations. Candidates must possess a high school diploma or GED, experience with ESD practices, and strong coordination skills. Additional preferred qualifications include soldering experience and familiarity with MRP systems.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Experienced handling small delicate components using ESD practices
- Must be experienced in the safe handling of chemicals
- Must have good hand and eye coordination
- Must demonstrate strong decision-making and leadership skills
- Ability to walk, sit, stand, stoop, climb, kneel, and bend for extended periods of time
- Ability to lift heavy materials
- Ability to access and work within restricted spaces in and around vehicles when necessary
Desired Qualifications
- Soldering and wire bonding experience
- Experience with MRP
- Experienced in the use of various computer applications, including MS Office
