Manufacturing Technician I

Job Summary
Prepare new drums and totes for filling, fill and package containers, and sample and test production material. Charge and monitor process tanks while making necessary mechanical connections for tank systems. Operate manual and automated equipment, perform material handling with forklift certification, and correctly document all processed containers per standard operating procedures. Communicate equipment status and outages to supervision, assist maintenance with troubleshooting and repair activities, and maintain current EHS and facility training. Work varied shifts including weekends in a safety-sensitive environment requiring constant alertness.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Strong Communication skills
- Demonstrated abilities to work independently and as a team
- 0-2 years manufacturing experience in related industry
- Strong troubleshooting skills
- Ability to lift at 60 lbs.
- Ability to push and pull up to 50 lbs.
- Must have a valid Arizona drivers' license and clean driving record
- Ability to work varied shifts to include 1st, 2nd, and 3rd shifts, including weekends
- Must be capable of making necessary mechanical connections for tank systems
- Must maintain job associated certifications and tasks above the basic level
- Must maintain EHS and other facility training current
