Job Summary
Execute testing, measurements, and process control activities using established procedures while utilizing job packets, routings, and bills of materials to complete assigned work. Maintain and operate production tools and equipment, troubleshoot product and process issues to identify defects, and perform wire preparation, stripping, crimping, and harness repair. Read blueprints and schematics to assist with electronics, hydraulics, mechanical assemblies, and automated machine operation. Safely use manual and power tools to support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain a clean, safety-focused environment. Perform duties Monday through Friday from 06:00 to 15:30 at a rate of $23–$25 per hour.
Required Qualifications
- 1–3 years of manufacturing or technical experience in a production environment
- Associate degree in Mechanical Technology, Hydraulics, or a related technical field
- Ability to read blueprints and electrical schematics
- Understanding of bills of materials (BOMs) and parent/child product structures
- Proficiency with hand tools and power tools
- Basic computer skills with the ability to navigate simple software applications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Shift: 06:00 to 15:30 Monday through Friday
