Job Summary
Operate, clean, and maintain production lines for molding, assembly, and packaging of one-time use cameras. Perform quality inspections, execute product changeovers, and clear machine jams while adhering to lockout/tagout procedures. Conduct routine adjustments, perform manual packing operations, and manage raw materials, finished goods, and hazardous waste using production systems. Execute inventory cycle counts, maintain packaging supplies, and transport products between departments. Cross-train in multiple work areas to support lean operations and follow all safety policies and codes of conduct.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 6 months working in a manufacturing process or equivalent experience
- Detail oriented
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to pass required safety training such as lockout tagout, hazard communication, ISO, etc.
- Forklift certification
- Ability to operate different types of powered forklift trucks
- Availability to work on a rotating shift schedule from Monday to Thursday
- Ability to alternate between First Shift (5:00 am - 3:30 pm) and Second Shift (3:00 pm - 1:30 am)
- Ability to work a 10-hour shift rotation
- Ability to receive work schedule two weeks in advance
- Ability to work with changing work hours based on business needs
- Ability to shuffle between work areas
- Ability to work with manpower shortages from absences
- Ability to perform proper lock out procedures
