Job Summary

Prepare and fill containers following documented procedures, ensuring correct packaging lineup for receipt and delivery operations while performing gauging and temperature verification. Move containers and supplies within the plant using a forklift and respond rapidly to emergencies by mitigating damages with appropriate equipment and chemicals. Adhere to all safety procedures, participate in training, and ensure work meets Federal and State OSHA requirements. This role requires 0–3 years of manufacturing experience, basic math and computer skills, and the ability to multi-task across varying shifts. Candidates must be comfortable with exposure to chemicals, fumes, and temperatures ranging from 100°+ in summer to -10° in winter. The position involves lifting up to 75 pounds and working in elevated environments.

Required Qualifications

  • 0 – 3 years proven experience in manufacturing environment
  • Good communications skills; ability to clearly communicate to all levels in the organization
  • Basic mathematical skills including addition, subtraction, multiplication, and long division
  • Basic computer knowledge and user ability including database systems and other programs and applications used at location
  • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and follow through on assignments
  • Flexibility to work varying and/or rotating shifts
  • Ascends and descends ladders and stairs
  • Ability to work in elevated environments, potentially for lengthy periods of time
  • Ability to lift and/or move up to seventy-five (75) pounds including overhead
  • Carry up to 25 pounds over a distance of up to 30 yards
  • Roll and tip dolly holding 55 pounds
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and in a safe manner
