Job Summary
Fabricate composite hardware using hand layup, bonding, assembly, trimming, and final finishing methods to meet customer expectations. Perform tasks in team or individual environments while developing skills for next-generation composite structures. Apply Low Observable coating knowledge regarding materials, processes, and application. Operate pneumatic tools following standard safe operating practices and comply with PPE requirements. Obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance and pass respirator fit testing. Work flexible schedules including overtime and weekends as needed.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 2 years of relatable aircraft experience in manufacturing/production experience (or similar)
- LO (Low Observable) coating knowledge, including materials, processes, and application
- Ability to obtain respirator qualification, including ability to pass respirator fit testing and comply with PPE requirements
- Ability and willingness to work a flexible schedule, including overtime and weekends as needed
- Pneumatic (air-powered) tools experience and follow standard safe operating practices
- Ability to obtain and maintain an Active DoD Secret Clearance
- U.S. Citizenship
