Manufacturing Technician

Manufacture and assembly of our state-of-the-art surgical robotic system at the Ely site, including electronics, test and measurement through to precision mechanical assembly. Assemble / test / commission integrated electro-mechanical assemblies using predefined instructions, perform precision assembly of small components to defined torque and quality standards, and record test results and build issues. Complete manufacturing records and travellers, identify and escalate non-conformances, and work with controlled work instructions, SOPs and quality-system requirements. Basic fault-finding using defined test procedures and support engineers with structured root-cause investigations. Willingness to take on tasks within the Operations remit to help the team achieve objectives.
