Job Summary
Perform setup, assembly, rework, troubleshooting, and testing on parts, components, subassemblies, and final assemblies in accordance with established work instructions and quality standards. Use advanced software tools to collect and evaluate operating data, then make on-line adjustments to products or equipment. Resolve issues that arise during routine production activities by applying judgment to moderately difficult problems. Assist in developing manufacturing methods and procedures to improve quality and efficiency. Serve as a resource for teammates by sharing expertise in specialized areas and mentoring junior technicians. This role operates on a 2nd shift 9/80 schedule in Salt Lake City, UT.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- minimum of 6 years of prior relevant manufacturing experience
- 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree
- minimum of 2 years of prior related experience
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
