Job Summary
Manufacturing Technician C responsible for performing repair of customer-returned units, including evaluating, troubleshooting, performing rework, and quality testing. Uses sophisticated programs to collect and evaluate operating data to adjust products, instruments, or equipment during the repair process. Determines and may assist in developing methods and procedures to control or modify the repair process. Understands all operations WI’s (assembly, test, & rework) related to customer returns and reviews suspected failures per QC WI-8608 to ensure proper evaluation; escalates non-conformances to Quality and SQE; moves failed units to QC/rework cells; identifies failure trends and submits Process Improvement Management tickets; participates in cross-functional meetings to implement improvements and stay current with developments and policies.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent with 6 years prior experience, 2 year post-secondary/AA Degree and 2 years prior experience
