Job Summary
Operate and maintain thin and dry film equipment to manufacture substrates and elements, including preparing surfaces through cleaning, etching, and thermal trimming. Monitor etched copper tolerances, adjust resistor rods, and perform electrical compliance testing on manufactured components. Assist in meeting daily production requirements by inspecting, packing, and organizing laboratory supplies while adhering to safety protocols. Communicate with the team lead regarding production plans and issues encountered throughout the process area.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience
- 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- Mechanically inclined
- Ability to use microscope
- Ability to use measuring tools such as calipers, multimeter
- Familiar with laboratory control procedures
- Familiar with chemical safety
- Familiar with personal protective equipment (PPE)
- Ability to understand engineering drawings
- Ability to understand geometric dimensions
- Ability to understand tolerances
- Detail-oriented
- Strong organizational skills
- Ability to work independently
- Ability to work as part of a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong problem-solving abilities
- Proactive approach to work
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
- Eligibility requirements for access to classified information
