Job Summary
Perform manufacturing functions in compliance with quality specifications, partnering with engineers on equipment setup, calibration, and rework testing for parts and assemblies. Support root cause analysis of failed electronic components, make online adjustments using advanced software to analyze operating data, and verify quality against statistical process controls. Execute continuous improvement projects targeting waste affecting product quality, cost, and schedule, while maintaining professional standards and ethical judgment. Work the 9/80 schedule (9 out of 14 days) on the 1st shift, with flexibility to support OT including nights, weekends, and extended hours as needed. Lift up to 35 lbs. This role supports L3Harris Technologies' mission-critical defense solutions across space, air, land, sea, and cyber domains.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent and a minimum of 4 years of prior relevant experience
- 2 years post-Secondary/Associates Degree with 0 to 2 years of prior related experience
- Must be able to lift up to 35 lbs
- Uphold high ethical standards
- Support OT (nights, weekends, extended hours) as needed to meet schedule requirements and business needs
- Ability to obtain a security clearance
- U.S. citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in prototype and first time build processes
- Knowledgeable in manufacturing process improvement through adoption of more efficient methods using tools such as, lean, six sigma, just do it, and TOC techniques
- Demonstrated ability to comprehend schematics, logic drawings, layouts, wire lists, and prints
- Experience with SAP, SAPME, TeamCenter enterprise resource planning and lifecycle management software
