Job Summary
Build new office equipment using sequence of events documents, diagrams, and mechanical sub-assemblies. Diagnose, tear down, and repair faulty electro-mechanical components on returned or failing units by replacing defective parts such as motors, circuit boards, rollers, sensors, and gears. Use multimeters, calipers, and diagnostic software to locate root causes of hardware errors and perform full functional testing on both newly built and repaired units. Log all build tracking data, failure modes, and repair actions into the production database. Work Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 3:30pm EST at the Rochester Tech Park Manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- 1–3 years of experience in electro-mechanical assembly, technical repair, or field service
- Ability to stand, bend, and reach during assembly and tear-down processes
- Capability to safely lift and manipulate equipment components weighing up to 50 pounds
- Ability to read technical schematics, parts illustrations, and wiring diagrams
- Proficiency with precision hand tools, software testing, and digital diagnostic equipment
