Job Summary
Operate processing equipment, set up unit operations, and control production using manual, automatic, or computer systems while adhering to established protocols. Start, stop, and clean equipment after production, documenting all activities as required. Identify malfunctions, report failures, and collaborate with repair personnel to resolve issues or adjust parameters. Conduct routine analytical tests, transport chemicals and equipment using pumps, piping, and forklifts, and manufacture products following approved protocols. Maintain accurate records, communicate status and issues to supervisors, and ensure compliance with safety policies, Good Manufacturing Practices, and Process Safety Management. Work the 1st shift (5:30 AM – 2:00 PM) at the Cherokee site, lifting up to 35lbs and navigating stairs multiple times daily.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED
- 1+ years of experience in an ISO or GMP environment
- Able to lift and move up to 35lbs
- Able to walk, reach overhead, stoop, kneel, twist, crouch, crawl, and stand for long periods
- Willing to work in a non-air-conditioned production environment and outdoors
- Must be eligible to work in the US
Desired Qualifications
- Associates Degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biology or other Life Science field of study
