Job Summary
Test, inspect, rework, and assemble equipment according to assembly drawings, schematics, and procedures while maintaining daily management boards. Operate, calibrate, and repair production equipment and subassemblies; perform process validations and improvement suggestions. Conduct inventory transactions, review non-conforming materials, and report failures via the NCR process. Ensure calibrated equipment remains within specification and comply with 6S, GMP, and ISO13485 requirements. Work in a team environment within a controlled clean room if applicable, perform equipment maintenance, and work special projects as requested. This 3rd shift role (11PM-7:30AM, Sunday-Thursday) includes a 15% differential and requires training on the 1st shift.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing experience including assembly, testing, and shipping of products
- Must have very good computer skills
- some knowledge of spreadsheets and database data entry
- Ability to communicate effectively, both written and verbally
- Ability to work independently with little supervision
- Detail oriented and accurate
- Must follow all applicable FDA regulations and ISO requirements
- Must be able to work overtime to meet production schedule as needed
- Must be able to work in a team environment
- Ability to work in a controlled Clean Room environment (if applicable)
- Proficiency with all basic hand tools such as screwdrivers, wrenches, torque tools, crimpers, soldering irons, multi-meter and oscilloscope
- Ability to follow Hologic written procedures to maintain GMP compliance and ISO 13485 certification
Desired Qualifications
- Technical Degree/Trade school in Electronics Technology or equivalent work experience preferred
- Electrostatic Discharge (ESD) knowledge a plus
- Proficient Knowledge of Microsoft Office, ORACLE and AGILE application preferred
