Job Summary
Develop, modify, and optimize CNC machining programs while conducting daily shop floor support to troubleshoot issues and reduce downtime. Assist with capital project work including equipment selection, installation, and commissioning, and support layout planning with work instruction preparation. Execute continuous improvement initiatives, manage engineering change orders, and design tooling, fixtures, and fabrication parts. Read engineering drawings and apply analytical problem-solving skills to optimize equipment performance within the Manufacturing Engineering team.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in mechanical engineering, engineering technology, manufacturing, or a similar field
- 1-3 years of experience in a similar role
- Experience in machining and Mazatrol programming
- Experience with tool design, CAD, and CNC programming
- Able to read engineering drawings
- Familiar with fabrication and assembly equipment and processes
- Experience supporting CapEx Projects
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- A good eye for detail with excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong customer relationships
- Must be able to lift/move objects up to 20lbs
- Must be available for onsite work Tuesday - Friday (12pm - 8pm) and Saturday (10am - 6pm)
