Job Summary
Operate and set up bindery equipment including cutters, folders, stitchers, and perfect binders while monitoring quality and making adjustments. Keep production moving by troubleshooting minor issues and working as a team to hit daily goals. Inspect finished products to ensure they meet standards and follow safety procedures to maintain a clean workspace. You will be on your feet for most of the 1st shift from 7:00 AM to 3:00 PM, Monday through Friday. Sheridan New Hampshire trains you to run high-speed machinery if you have prior experience operating equipment in manufacturing, warehouse, or trades.
Required Qualifications
- Have experience operating machinery in any industry (manufacturing, warehouse, trades, etc.)
- Are mechanically inclined and comfortable using basic tools
- Can read basic job instructions and measurements (decimals, sizes, etc.)
- Take pride in doing quality work
- Show up reliably and work well with a team
- On your feet for most of the shift
- Lift up to 20 lbs. occasionally
Desired Qualifications
- Press, bindery, or finishing experience
- Experience setting up or adjusting production equipment
