Job Summary
Manufacturing Technical Coordinator reporting to the Manufacturing Technical Supervisor will prepare pre-production paperwork, translate drawings/submittal packages from Design Teams, and convert them into executable formats for the Manufacturing Team. Responsibilities include formatting engineering files for production, organizing CNC files, creating schedules, revising nesting layouts for maximum output, and reviewing a predefined checklist for each project to ensure accuracy and compliance; organize parts for packaging and assembly. The role requires strong communication, understanding production requirements, willingness to train with the Design Team at the Firehouse, openness to learning new programs (e.g., Rhino), and being well-organized with strong mathematical skills.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required
- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 2+ years of drafting, millwork, cabinetry, or equivalent
- 3-5 years in production/manufacturing environment
