Job Summary
Follow batch production records and SOPs to manufacture human tissue products for transplantation, utilizing good documentation practices and maintaining appropriate inventories. Perform cleaning and preparation of all equipment necessary for daily manufacturing, assist with technology transfer from R&D, and participate in the 5S program and housekeeping. Identify areas for improvement in manufacturing efficiencies and compliance, and become an expert in selected key areas of interest through the Manufacturing Mentor Program. This role requires an Associates or Bachelor's degree in a life science with 0-5 years of manufacturing experience and familiarity with aseptic technique. Required Qualifications
- Associates degree in a life science
- Bachelor's degree in a life science
- 0-5 years of experience in a manufacturing setting
- Familiar with aseptic technique
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to work effectively and efficiently in a team environment
- Manual dexterity sufficient to cut finely with a scalpel
- Commitment to high standards of quality
- Stand for up to 4 hours at a time
- Proper PPE must be worn around disinfectants
- Remain in PPE in a cleanroom environment for up to 8 hours
- Lift 30 pounds repeatedly
