Job Summary
Manufacturing Technician I position in South Reno, NV for HORIBA Instruments; performs assembly, configuration, installation, testing, and inspection of mechanical and electro-mechanical components in a cleanroom; shift is 10 hours Mon-Thu with initial training; requires soldering skills and knowledge of electrical/mechanical principles; includes comprehensive compensation package.
Required Qualifications
- Knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems
- Knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles
- General electrical assembly experience and knowledge of electrical and related mechanical principles
- Soldering skills
Desired Qualifications
- Certificate or AS degree from a technical school or equivalent experience
- Knowledge of MS Windows and MS Office with emphasis on Excel
- Ability to read and understand schematics/blueprints preferred
- Knowledge of cleanroom protocol helpful but not required
