In Reno, NV, the Manufacturing Technician role within HORIBA's North American Semiconductor group involves working in a cleanroom to assemble, configure, install, and test mechanical and electro-mechanical components. The technician will perform product flow testing of flow restrictors, monitor and record test data, conduct verification testing to meet quality standards, and perform visual inspections of assemblies and incoming materials, including sampling for further inspection. Responsibilities include packaging and labeling flow restrictors for inventory and shipment, and following detailed assembly instructions, drawings, and specifications under the guidance of a manufacturing engineer. Required skills include knowledge of mechanical and electro-mechanical systems, electrical principles related to mechanical assemblies, general electrical assembly experience, and soldering skills. Preferred qualifications include a technical certificate or AS degree, proficiency with MS Windows and MS Office (Excel), ability to read schematics/blueprints, and familiarity with cleanroom protocols.
