Job Summary
Assemble component parts and perform visual or dimensional inspections for conformance to specifications while adhering to written procedures and quality policies. Set up equipment per Manufacturing and Quality Work Instructions, operate manual and automatic machinery, and escalate non-conformances. Complete required Device History Records and other manufacturing documentation per Good Documentation Practices, and may package assemblies for shipment. Participate in team activities focusing on process improvement, problem resolution, and customer satisfaction, while expanding skill base through on-the-job training and cross-training. Maintain a safe and clean working environment by complying with all procedures and regulations. This 1st shift position runs Monday through Thursday from 5:30 am to 4:00 pm.
Required Qualifications
- High school graduate or equivalent
- 0-2 years related work experience
- Ability to read, comprehend and follow detailed instruction
- Able and willing to learn assembly operations
- Must be available for 1st shift
- Schedule Monday - Thursday, 5:30 am to 4:00 pm
Desired Qualifications
- Ability to read blueprints preferred
- Familiarity with microscopes and measuring devices preferred
- Previous light assembly experience in a regulated industry with medical devices preferred
