Job Summary
Operate, monitor, and adjust CNC milling, grinding, induction, and semi-automated equipment to produce quality parts while performing routine set-ups and changeovers. Inspect products using micrometers, calipers, and gauges, record downtime in a log book, and troubleshoot minor machine issues by communicating defects to technical staff. Read blueprints, verify bill of materials, and report accurate production counts and labor hours. Comply with 6S standards, cross-train on different machines, and work overtime as needed.
Required Qualifications
- One (1) year of related experience
- Ability to work overtime as needed by the company
- Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand basic English
- Ability to demonstrate basic math and computer skills and perform visual quality inspections
- Ability to learn, problem-solve, and make decisions per work instructions and documents
- Ability to communicate and work as a team member
- The employee must occasionally lift and/or move objects up to 35 pounds
Desired Qualifications
- High School diploma or equivalent
- Knowledge in operating CNC, milling, grinding, and press operation machines
