Job Summary
Manufacturing Team Lead to oversee on-the-floor manufacturing activities in a fully on-site Fremont, CA facility. Responsibilities include ensuring safe and compliant operations per EHS policies, meeting quality requirements, managing material movement (Oracle/IOT) between plants, conducting cycle counts and inventory management, creating and sustaining standardized work, training and mentoring technical staff, reporting attendance/quality/performance issues to the Manufacturing Supervisor, leading the assembly process from a process standpoint, identifying and eliminating non-value-added waste, and performing station audits. Requires high school diploma (AA preferred), strong leadership and cross-functional communication, lean manufacturing knowledge, process-tac responsibilities experience, and flexibility for a Thursday–Saturday shift (6:00 pm–6:00 am). Required Qualifications
- High school diploma required, AA degree preferred
- Strong interpersonal, oral and written communication
- Leadership skills to motivate and lead teams
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
- Experience with lean manufacturing terminology/principles
- Experience creating standardized work
- Experience completing station audits
- Experience completing process technician responsibilities preferred
- Able to lift 15 lbs and wear PPE
- Willingness to work Thurs-Sat with alternating Wed shift (6:00 pm - 6:00 am)
