Job Summary
Oversee and support the organization's IT infrastructure, systems, and technology services to ensure reliable and secure business operations. Provide oversight for systems backups and disaster recovery operations while acting as the escalation point for complex technical and operational issues. Collaborate with stakeholders to implement technology solutions, guide troubleshooting activities, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Manage requests, incidents, problems, and change management activities, ensuring compliance with security requirements and participating in daily patching. Maintain high-level documentation and coordinate with vendors to support system operations.
Required Qualifications
- College diploma in relevant Information Technology field
- Cisco CCNA certification
- Minimum 10 years of related experience in a large and complex environment
- Strong background in Windows Server administration and Active Directory
- Networking experience — LAN/WAN, switches, routers, VLANs
- Proficiency with virtualization technologies (VMware, VDI, HyperV)
- Previous helpdesk and troubleshooting experience
- Previous experience managing Windows, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, backups, patches, security and email systems
- Ability to support VMware and VDI environments including other virtualization software
- Experience supporting enterprise applications (e.g., AS/400, Microsoft 365)
- Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis capabilities
