Job Summary
Manufacturing System Technician responsible for assembling, testing, and troubleshooting medical robotic systems and subassemblies per MPI, drawings, and schematics; installing and configuring hardware (robotic arms, sensors, motors, PLCs, relays, circuit boards, cables) and software components; conducting system testing and coordinating with engineers to resolve issues; maintaining accurate records in Device History Records, adhering to GMP and lean manufacturing practices, and supporting inventory management. Requires GMP experience, familiarity with ISO 13485/21 CFR 820, ability to work with production and engineering teams to perform root cause analyses, and flexibility for overtime. Schedule typically Monday–Thursday, 5:00 AM–3:30 PM; location in California with remote/hybrid/onsite options depending on team. No agencies please.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma required OR AS Degree in Computer Science with minimum 2 years of medical device test experience OR BS in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or Industrial Engineering with 1 year of medical device test experience
- English language proficiency required
- Knowledge of GMP, Non-Conformance reports, and Line clearance experience required
- Experience working in a regulated environment in compliance with ISO 13485 and 21 CFR 820 required
