Job Summary
Manufacturing Support Technician to uphold cleanroom standards and support a new state-of-the-art GMP facility. Responsibilities include setup/breakdown/cleaning of equipment and manufacturing areas, collaborating with manufacturing and quality teams to ensure production readiness, executing and maintaining cGMP procedures and SOPs, conducting routine cleanroom inspections, documenting batch records and logs accurately, handling hazardous waste, supporting maintenance and calibration of equipment, participating in training to stay current with industry standards, and assisting with material movement with EHS/Materials teams. The role requires following safety protocols, prioritizing tasks in a fast-paced environment, and flexibility to work a standard 40-hour week with occasional off-shift hours and/or weekends. Preferred qualifications include a high school diploma or equivalent (or related technical training) with consideration for life sciences or engineering bachelor’s degrees; experience with sanitization, aseptic technique, and sterile processes in regulated settings; strong attention to detail, organization, and teamwork; and effective communication. The position offers potential for promotion to Bioprocess Engineering within the first year.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical or vocational training in biopharma manufacturing, cleanroom operations, or related fields is a plus; bachelor’s degrees in life sciences or engineering will be considered in lieu of direct experience; experience with sanitization, aseptic technique and/or sterile processes in GMP/ISO setting preferred; ability to follow detailed instructions and maintain documentation; safety and SOP adherence; strong communication and teamwork; physical stamina to lift heavy objects; ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required
