Job Summary
Operate machinery, forklifts, power tools, and hand tools safely to support production and material movement. Assist with cabinet assembly, casework assembly, custom millwork fabrication, and general shop production tasks. Prepare, stage, and organize materials, parts, tools, and supplies for daily manufacturing operations. Conduct routine visual inspections of materials, equipment, and finished products to identify quality concerns, maintenance needs, or safety hazards. Read and follow shop instructions, drawings, labels, work orders, and direction from production leadership. Collaborate with team members across production, assembly, custom building, finishing, shipping, and warehouse areas to meet production schedules. Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safe working conditions within the manufacturing facility and warehouse areas. Follow all safety protocols and report incidents, unsafe conditions, damaged materials, or quality concerns immediately. Support continuous improvement efforts by helping identify better ways to improve safety, quality, workflow, and efficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Ability to read basic work instructions, measurements, shop drawings, labels, or production paperwork
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing high-quality work
- Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and move materials for extended periods during the shift
- Dependable, safety-conscious, and willing to work as part of a team
- Positive attitude with a willingness to learn, grow, and take on new responsibilities
Desired Qualifications
- Previous manufacturing, woodworking, cabinetry, millwork, assembly, or factory experience
- Experience with cabinet assembly, casework assembly, machine operation, custom building, or general production work
- Mechanical knowledge with the ability to safely use hand tools, power tools, and shop equipment
- Forklift experience or certification
