Job Summary
Develop and maintain daily, weekly, and monthly production schedules across manufacturing areas, ensuring equipment, materials, and documentation are available before batch start. Monitor ongoing activities against the production plan, adjust schedules in real time for deviations or delays, and communicate priorities to Production Managers and Operators. Coordinate manufacturing campaigns, batch sequencing, and cleaning intervals while aligning planned maintenance, calibration, and requalification activities to minimize production impact. Partner with Supply Chain, Quality, and Maintenance teams to confirm resource availability and resolve cross-functional constraints. Document all plan changes and deviations in accordance with GMP requirements, prepare capacity reports, and identify opportunities to improve scheduling processes and operational reliability.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's, Master's or PhD degree in Chemistry, Biochemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Food Science, or another relevant scientific or technical discipline
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical operations within a GMP-regulated environment
- Strong understanding of biotech manufacturing processes, sterile processes and production equipment
- Practical experience and understanding of Clean-in-Place (CIP) and Steam-in-Place (SIP) processes within a GMP-regulated biopharmaceutical manufacturing environment
- Understanding of the impact of cleaning, sterilization, maintenance, calibration and equipment requalification activities on manufacturing schedules and equipment availability
- Experience in manufacturing planning, scheduling, production coordination or a closely related operational role
- Ability to understand complex manufacturing dependencies related bott and translate them into practical and executable production plans
- Understand automation-related manufacturing constraints and recipe dependencies that may impact production sequencing, equipment availability and campaign scheduling
- Professional proficiency in English
- Willingness to travel occasionally and participate in remote on-call duties when required
Desired Qualifications
- Experience working with deviations, investigations and corrective and preventive actions in a GMP environment is an advantage
- German is an advantage
