Job Summary

Lead supplier audits and assessments to ensure compliance with company standards, developing and implementing quality metrics and reporting. Collaborate with procurement and engineering to resolve fabrication quality issues, driving corrective actions for delivery, cost, and quality improvements. Monitor supplier performance to reduce non-conformances and improve product reliability while recommending revised quality procedures. Maintain a clean and safe work environment by ensuring all tasks adhere to quality and safety standards. This on-site role supports strategic sourcing initiatives and continuous improvement efforts within United Holdings' manufacturing operations.

Required Qualifications

  • 5–7 years related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field
  • ASQ Certified Quality Engineer (CQE) or similar certification
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and critical thinking skills
  • Ability to manage projects, meet deadlines, and work under time constraints
  • Effective communication and presentation skills
  • Experience with supplier audits and root cause analysis
  • Expertise in ISO 9001, IATF 16949, AS9100 standards
  • Proficient in APQP, PPAP, FMEA, MSA, SPC, and Control Plans
  • Advanced statistical analysis and Six Sigma methodologies
  • Skilled in supplier audits, risk management, and CAPA
  • Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes and inspection tools
  • Proficient in ERP/QMS software and data analytics tools
  • Excellent root cause analysis and problem-solving abilities
  • Effective communicator and collaborator across teams
  • Strong reporting, documentation, and presentation skills
  • Continuous improvement mindset (Kaizen, Lean, Six Sigma)
  • Ability to mentor, train, and lead cross-functional projects
  • Ability to maintain current and thorough knowledge of all applicable processes and equipment
  • Frequent standing, walking, sitting, handling, climbing, crawling, squatting, kneeling, and bending
  • Ability to lift/carry up to 20 lbs. frequently; occasional lifting up to 25 lbs.
  • Must be able to wear PPE as required
  • Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the position, location, and/or customer
