Job Summary
Manufacturing Supervisor role overseeing cannabis extraction and production: lead a team, train on extraction equipment, ensure policy and SOP compliance, monitor attendance and performance, oversee equipment maintenance, maintain inventory records, manage process flow and resource allocation, and ensure safe handling of chemicals; requires a chemistry or biology degree, knowledge of hydrocarbon/ethanol extraction and distillation, strong leadership and communication skills, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Associate degree in chemistry or biology
- Minimum 21 years of age (or 18+ in CT/PA/WV per policy)
- Comprehensive background screening
- Understanding of state and local laws
- Understanding of proper and safe handling of hazardous materials
- Familiarity with separations, isolations and fractionation
- Knowledge of solvent and solvent-free extraction methods
- Cannabis knowledge including hydrocarbon/ethanol extraction and distillation
- Strong leadership and communication skills
- Manufacturing experience preferred
