Manufacturing Supervisor

Job Summary
Oversee vinyl and regrind production operations to ensure safety, quality, and efficiency. Provide operational shift leadership, troubleshoot process and equipment issues, and ensure correct machine set-up and calibration. Enforce SOPs and safety protocols, coordinate tasks and schedules, and train/mentor associates. Collaborate with Maintenance, Quality, and Engineering to resolve recurring issues, support continuous improvement, and ensure accurate production reporting and documentation in ERP systems. Lead daily shift start-up meetings, manage performance against production goals, and maintain a positive, high-performance work environment across the shift. Ensure quality through in-process and final inspections, audits, and calibration of measuring tools, while driving accountability and efficiency through effective leadership and team development.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree or technical training equivalent with demonstrated proficiency through experience
- Minimum 3–5 years of manufacturing experience with proven background and knowledge working with quality control and equipment operation
- Prior leadership, supervisory, or team lead experience
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and troubleshooting techniques
- Ability to interpret technical documents, blueprints, schematics, and SOPs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and experience with ERP or manufacturing systems
- Skilled in using inspection tools such as calipers, micrometers, and gauges
- Strong attention to detail, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Ability to build and lead teams, influence positive behavior, manage/resolve conflict, and drive accountability and efficiency by focusing on people and process
- Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in a physically demanding environment
- Willingness to work rotating shifts, overtime, or weekends as needed
- Must adhere to safety protocols, wear appropriate PPE, and comply with all EHS requirements
