Job Summary
Oversee and coordinate daily manufacturing operations at Plant 3, including scheduling, staffing, training, and troubleshooting to ensure safe, efficient, and timely production of high-quality outdoor power equipment. Motivate and lead team members through coaching, performance evaluations, and corrective actions while coordinating departmental activities to meet schedules, improve overall equipment effectiveness, and reduce lead times. Model teamwork with inter- and intra-departmental staff to enhance productivity and quality standards, participating in lean manufacturing activities to reduce waste. This leadership role supports AriensCo's mission to produce reliable, durably crafted products for consumer and professional customers, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous improvement within the manufacturing facility.
Required Qualifications
- High School diploma or GED
- Minimum of 3 years related work experience
- demonstrated leadership skills
- ability to maintain confidentiality when dealing with people, projects and issues
- Working knowledge of Lean tools (6S, Kaizen, etc.)
- Prior experience working in a manufacturing environment
- Applicants must be authorized to work in the U.S. without requiring sponsorship now or in the future
