Job Summary
Lead the machining department to execute production schedules safely and on time, coach and develop team members, lead interviews and onboarding, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. Coordinate with Maintenance, Engineering, Quality, and Operations to resolve issues, improve product quality, and enhance efficiency while upholding safety and organizational values.
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED
- Minimum 7 years of manufacturing experience preferred, or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 2 years of supervisory experience in a production environment preferred, or 5 years of progressively responsible team leadership experience
- Experience coordinating workflows across multiple functions or departments
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to read and interpret operating procedures, work instructions, and safety documentation
- Ability to prepare reports and communicate effectively with employees and leadership
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications and ERP systems (Oracle experience preferred)
- Lean manufacturing experience preferred
