Job Summary
Manufacturing Supervisor on a rotating 12-hour night shift (Thu–Sat with alternating Wednesdays, 6:00 PM–6:00 AM; 3- and 4-day weeks) leading night shift manufacturing operations to achieve production, quality, safety, and efficiency targets. Responsibilities include supervising production schedules, monitoring KPIs (throughput, yield, downtime, scrap, labor efficiency), optimizing equipment utilization, escalating issues, ensuring accurate shift handoffs and reports, coaching operators/technicians, supporting hiring/training, aligning staffing with production needs, and ensuring compliance with cleanroom procedures, ESD controls, ISO/quality standards; partnering with Quality and Manufacturing Engineering to resolve issues.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing, Operations, or related field preferred; equivalent experience considered
- 10+ years of manufacturing leadership experience in high-volume environments
- Experience in semiconductor, photonics, electronics, medical device, or cleanroom manufacturing preferred
- Strong knowledge of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and production control
- Experience leading teams in a 24/7 manufacturing environment
- Strong problem-solving, organizational, communication, and decision-making skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office
- Preferred: Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement methodologies
- Familiarity with MES systems, SPC, and manufacturing data analysis tools
- Experience in wafer scheduling, floor prioritization, shipment management, and driving quarterly production goals
- Prior experience supporting automated manufacturing equipment and process troubleshooting
- Knowledge of ISO quality standards and EHS compliance requirements
