Job Summary
Supervise machine shop, weld shop, maintenance, and facilities personnel while overseeing production planning, scheduling, and delivery timelines. Manage employee development, performance reviews, and goal setting, ensuring safe work conditions and enforcing EHS policies and procedures. Audit component quality, identify cost reduction opportunities, and streamline processes to drive continuous improvement. Collaborate with machinists, welders, and management to execute strategies within budget and meet challenging project timelines.
Required Qualifications
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- 10-15 years' experience
- Supervisory experience
- Must be familiar with Company quality objectives
- Must play an active role in reaching continuous improvement objectives
- Must focus on competence, awareness, and training of personnel
- Must understand and promote the positivity of impacting KPI's
- Experience in Microsoft Office
- Safety (OSHA, SDS), ANSI (RIA) standards
- Quality systems training
- High attention to detail, project budgets, and quality
- Able to plan, organize, and execute daily and weekly scheduled tasks
- Able to keep work area clean and organized
- Able to provide directions to employees within the Machine department
- Able to read and interpret blueprints, including GD&T
- Excellent team player with organizational and time management skills
- Safely orchestrate material flow and floor plan layout for active builds

- Must use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
- Must reach with hands and arms

- Must work in a safe and environmentally friendly manner
- Must observe all company EHS procedures
- Must know that the company EHS procedures are located on the ISO drive
- Must immediately notify the Manager if there is any safety hazard, any equipment not operating correctly, or if there are any questions regarding EHS procedures
- Must attend required EHS training
- Must comply with ISO 14001
- Must comply with AS9100D and ISO 9001:2015 quality management system, procedures, and work instructions
Desired Qualifications
- Supervisory experience preferred
- Basic fabrication, machining and metal finishing knowledge preferred
- CAD / CAM experience preferred
