Job Summary
Manufacturing Supervisor oversees a work team to meet daily production schedules in assembly/fabrication of sub-assemblies and units, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery. Responsibilities include maintaining productivity to plant goals, coordinating production plans with Department Leaders, providing safe work conditions, assigning work, delivering training and refresher courses, maintaining housekeeping, ensuring compliance with construction and quality standards, completing required documentation, managing on-time shipping, and hiring/training employees. The role drives safety performance toward Johnson Controls’ gold safety status, conducts safety observations, and collaborates across shifts and departments to support internal and external customers. This position is based in Marinette, Wisconsin.
Required Qualifications
- Associate’s degree (2-year) or equivalent
- five (5) years of experience in a manufacturing environment
- in the absence of a 2-year degree, formal certification a total of eight (8) to ten (10) years of related experience
- mechanical and analytical ability
- good communication skills
