Job Summary
Conduct daily production supervision, scheduling, and staffing while managing material compliance, training, and auditing. Lead direct reports through hiring, coaching, and performance management, then review and approve batch documentation to ensure product release meets time goals. Drive continuous improvement initiatives like 5S and kaizens, troubleshoot cGMP deviations, and represent the company during FDA inspections. Submit reports on attendance, labor, efficiency, and safety, and monitor capital expenditures to develop budgets. Maintain a clean work area using 6S principles and resolve technical or mechanical issues that impact project deadlines.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in technical, operations, business, or a related field
- More than 3 years of advancing manufacturing leadership experience
- Associate's degree accompanied by over 5 years of advancing leadership experience in manufacturing
- High school diploma or equivalent experience, along with over 10 years of advancing leadership roles in manufacturing
- Proven background managing manufacturing teams in a high-speed production setting
- Injection molding or other types of plastic manufacturing background
