Job Summary
Manufacturing Supervisor overseeing frontline supervision of hourly associates at one of our largest Windows and Doors production sites. Responsible for safety, corrective action, associate relations, housekeeping, and performance reviews; assist in improving production methods, equipment performance, and quality. Leads training on tooling, troubleshooting, machine set-up, operation, changeover, and safety procedures; drives continuous improvement, 5S, and lean manufacturing concepts; manages staffing to meet production demands; conducts regular performance evaluations and shift meetings; emphasizes safety, quality, environmental responsibility, and adherence to policies. First shift, Monday–Friday, 6 AM–3 PM.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree preferred
- 1-3 years of progressively responsible supervisory/leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
- sheet extrusion experience strongly preferred for extrusion facilities
- fenestration experience strongly preferred for windows facilities
- Highly developed oral and written communication skills
- ability to educate and train non-degreed operators and technicians
