Job Summary
Lead a team through daily safety, quality, throughput, and cost management while resolving technical and operational problems using continuous improvement methods. Coordinate hiring and termination, manage performance reviews, and coach production personnel to meet right-first-time targets and dispatch priorities. Collaborate with engineering, quality, and maintenance to execute cross-functional projects and optimize equipment and labor scheduling. Ensure parts processing adheres to documented procedures and specifications while maintaining active problem-solving engagement across the shift. This role requires Lean and continuous improvement knowledge, proficiency with Microsoft Suite, and at least one year of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment. Swing shift work is required.
Required Qualifications
- Lean and/or continuous improvement knowledge
- Pull production methodologies
- Proficient computer skills and experience with applications such as Microsoft Suite
- Managing team and individual performance, and providing effective feedback
- Coaching team members to encourage individual problem-solving
- Work well-scoped projects from beginning to end
- Convey concise written and verbal communication
- Lead teams in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a lead or supervisor in a production environment
- Must be at least 18 years of age
- Must be willing to undergo a pre-employment background check
- Must be willing to participate in pre-employment drug screening
- Must be willing to work swing shift
