Job Summary
Direct and optimize production-area activities to meet production goals, quality, and cost objectives; prioritize schedules based on product build plan, equipment efficiency, and material supply; oversee day shift operations across multiple work areas; administer procedures and facilitate training; participate in budgeting for capital expenditures and direct labor; select, evaluate, and develop personnel; lead teams to complete assignments using established guidelines, procedures, and policies; drive cross-functional problem solving and process improvements; ensure Lean manufacturing concepts such as One-Piece Flow, 5S, and TAKT are applied; ensure quality management with ISO 9001 compliance; demonstrate strong written, verbal, and presentation communication; leverage Microsoft Office for data analysis and reporting; preferred experience with Oracle ERP or equivalent.
Required Qualifications
- Technical AS Degree, BS degree or equivalent preferred
- 3 years of high technology manufacturing experience, supervision experience preferred
- Supervisory, coaching and people development skills
- Microsoft Office Application skills suitable for data analysis and reporting
- Understanding of Lean Manufacturing concepts such as One-Piece Flow, 5S, TAKT
- Direct experience with Oracle ERP or equivalent preferred
- Effective written, verbal and presentation communication skills
- Ability to facilitate and influence cross functional problem solving and process improvement
- Ability to create, communicate, and hold subordinates accountable to expectations
- Experience leading stand-up meetings in a production environment
- Experience attending and facilitating peer-level or above status meetings
- Strong data analysis and reporting mindset
- Commitment to ISO 9001 and quality management responsibilities
- Capability to manage budgetary aspects related to capital expenditures and direct labor
- Safe and compliant operation in a cleanroom environment
