Job Summary
Oversee automated assembly production lines by ensuring schedules align with demand forecasts and optimizing system performance for continuous improvement. Monitor line metrics, throughput, and cycle times while managing equipment upgrades, preventive maintenance, and robotic system availability. Lead root cause analysis on production bottlenecks, implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma initiatives, and coordinate cross-functional teams to resolve critical equipment failures and restore line functionality. This role contributes to the Electrification Smart Power unit in Senatobia, MS, reporting to an Integrated Product Unit Manager.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree (preferred) in Engineering, Manufacturing, Business, or related field; or equivalent combination of experience and education
- 3+ years of experience as a Supervisor, Team Lead, or equivalent in automated manufacturing operations
- Demonstrated expertise in high-volume automated assembly line operations
- Strong understanding of automation systems, PLC controls, and integrated manufacturing equipment
- Proven proficiency in Lean Manufacturing and Lean Six Sigma Tools
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel for data analysis and reporting
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and cross-functional collaboration abilities
- Experience reading and interpreting technical documentation and system specifications
