Job Summary
Manufacturing Supervisor at Abbott in Westfield, IN (Structural Heart). Drive continuous improvement and lean initiatives, oversee shifts, and develop a high-performance production team to achieve safety, quality, on-time delivery, and cost targets. Responsibilities include coaching and performance management, standard work and 5S training, problem solving, scheduling review, and implementing customer-focused processes. Leads a diverse staff, fosters a respectful environment, ensures regulatory compliance (FDA, QMS, EMS), maintains production records, and supports company initiatives. Requires an Associate Degree and at least 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience; strong verbal/written communication, and ability to operate in a matrixed, fast-paced environment. 2nd shift: 2:30 – 11:30 PM.
