Job Summary
Manufacturing Supervisor in Portland, OR to lead a team of manufacturing operators and production technicians, manage day-to-day shift operations including labor/material flow and production scheduling, ensure product quality through standard work and training, monitor performance metrics and drive continuous improvement, and recruit/develop a diverse workforce to meet daily and long-term targets.
Required Qualifications
- Associates Degree or Bachelors Degree Minimum 3 years related work experience in a multi-product manufacturing environment
- Strong supervisor skills, with demonstrated ability to lead, coach, mentor, and develop employees
- Effective communication (verbal, written), interpersonal, and motivational skills
- Strong organizational, planning, and follow-up skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and hold production team accountable for results
- Preferred Qualifications Medical device industry experience
- Experience with manual manufacturing processes (incl. cutting, soldering, crimping)
