Job Summary
Program and operate 5th axis milling equipment while managing daily shift turnovers and assigning resources to meet production deadlines. Direct manufacturing personnel through performance reviews, disciplinary actions, and training development, ensuring adherence to medical device SOPs and OSHA safety standards. Collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Purchasing to prevent delays, adjust asset schedules, and implement preventive maintenance protocols. Maintain a clean work environment and lead by example in a dynamic machining environment.
Required Qualifications
- Associate Degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience
- Minimum 3 years of experience in supervisory or management role in a manufacturing environment
- Strong leadership, communication, motivation, and organizational skills
- Strong analytical skills and the ability to express concepts effectively, both written and verbal
- Strong multitasking skills and the ability to work in a highly dynamic and growing environment
- Detail oriented with a high level of emphasis on accuracy and completeness
- Must be familiar with and be able to read mechanical (machining) drawings and specifications
- Must have a solid grasp of manufacturing workflow and machining processes
- Light to moderate physical exertion required
- Lifting/carrying maximum 50 lbs
- Frequent lbs: 1-10
- Regularly required to stand, reach, and move about the facility
