Manufacturing Supervisor - 3rd Shift

Job Summary
Plan and supervise daily production operations, anticipating and resolving material shortages, equipment malfunctions, and workforce issues to meet shift goals. Coach, train, and motivate hourly employees while enforcing safety rules, managing hazardous conditions, and leading emergency responses. Initiate cost reductions, work simplifications, and continuous improvements, and handle production-related administrative tasks including payroll approvals and reporting. Participate in interview processes, appraise performance, and recommend promotions or transfers. Maintain safety and housekeeping practices with alertness to emergency situations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous leadership experience in a role such as Team Lead or supervisor
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Exceptional motivator, skilled in leading teams and conflict resolution skills
- Ability to supervise fast-paced industrial environment
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP software, required
Desired Qualifications
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt strongly preferred
