Job Summary
Manufacturing Supervisor on 1st Shift responsible for supervising daily production, coordinating production efforts, and ensuring safe operation of equipment and processes. Leads hourly employees, coaches and develops staff, participates in hiring/disciplinary processes, and drives continuous improvements and cost reductions. Tasks include payroll hours approval, reporting, maintaining safety and housekeeping practices, and ensuring production and quality objectives are met. Strong emphasis on leadership, communication, problem-solving, and ERP/Microsoft Office proficiency to support a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or related field or equivalent work experience
- At least 2 years of related experience in a manufacturing environment
- Previous leadership experience in a role such as Team Lead or supervisor strongly preferred
- Lean Six Sigma Green or Black Belt strongly preferred
- Computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office Suite, and ERP software, required
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to supervise fast-paced industrial environment
- Safety rules and regulations knowledge and enforcement
