Job Summary
Manufacturing Specialist III responsible for leading all aspects of the production process in a high-volume manufacturing environment in Woodlands, Singapore. Responsibilities include equipment setup and maintenance, production/fabrication, testing, production training, and machine/tool making with high independence; manage manpower deployment in production areas; operate automatic or semi-automatic production equipment; perform complex electrical tasks as part of assembly; conduct On-The-Job training for new hires and existing operators; act as line trainer ensuring adherence to Work Instructions and quality standards; collaborate with Engineering, Quality, and Planning to resolve issues; support process and manufacturing improvements and CI initiatives; assist with labeling, packing, palletizing, and material handling; participate in reporting, tracking, and escalation of key operational metrics; physical requirements include lifting up to 3 kg (and up to 15 kg for packing/unpacking) and standing/walking for extended periods. Shift pattern includes 12-hour shifts with 3-2-2-3 rotation and weekend/public holiday coverage. Location is Woodlands, Singapore (W1). The role requires good English comprehension and strong communication/coordination skills and a willingness to undertake ad-hoc duties.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum > 6 years of relevant manufacturing experience
- Prior experience as a senior operator, trainer, line leader or cell lead
- Proven ability to lead and coordinate a small team in the production environment
- Be adaptable and willing to take on other ad-hoc duties as assigned
- Physically able to carry work items up to 3 kg
- Able to stand and walk for extended hours (4 to 7 hours)
- Willing to work 12-hrs shift
- Prepared to work on Weekends and Public Holidays
