Job Summary
Operate test equipment and perform electromechanical assembly using manual and electronic tools for mechanical and optical tasks. Enter production data into computer-based systems and maintain accurate reports while engaging in activities such as semiconductor processing, die bonding, wire bonding, and working with optical fibers. Work in a clean room environment wearing appropriate garments, using a microscope, and handling solvents according to documented work instructions. Identify and report irregularities not compliant with standards, ensure safe work practices, and check equipment regularly for normal operation. May engage in basic troubleshooting and quickly learn new software to meet cycle time targets.
Required Qualifications
- Must be comfortable with the use of computer for data entry
- Must be able to quickly learn to use and navigate new software
- Must have good mechanical skills
- Must be dependable and reliable
- Ability to follow instructions
- Problem-solving skills
- Ability to consistently meet or exceed cycle time targets
- Ability to work assigned shift with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to sit/stand/walk for 8-to-12-hour shift
- Ability to lift up to 35 pounds with or without a reasonable accommodation
- Ability to frequently use hands for the repetitive actions of simple and firm grasping
- Ability to work in a clean room environment
- Must be a US Person (US citizen, lawful permanent resident, or protected individual granted asylum or refugee status)
Desired Qualifications
- Soldering and microscope experience
- Experienced handling and assembling small delicate components
