Job Summary
Monitor and evaluate software systems and computerized manufacturing equipment for wafer fabrication while communicating and resolving inhibitors to production performance. Adhere to strict protocol policies, including wearing a clean room suit for extended periods and performing frequent movement in and out of the fab area with regular donning and doffing of PPE. Communicate with teams regarding any issues affecting manufacturing output. This contract-to-hire role supports 24/7 production of specialized technology components at advanced manufacturing facilities in Central Texas. Candidates must have a clear understanding of the tools and systems utilized, proficiency in Microsoft Excel, and the ability to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening.
Required Qualifications
- Must have a clear understanding of the tools and systems that are utilized and the product that is being produced
- Requires compliance with all security, health, and safety, and environmental management system guidelines
- Must be very confident with computers and capable of learning new software systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (minimum 6 months)
- Excellent verbal communication and teamwork skills
- Requires regular lifting of items weighing up to 50 lbs
- Must adhere to strict protocol policies, which include wearing a clean room suit for long periods
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent required
- Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screening
- Shift: 6:45 AM - 7:15 PM; Sun, Mon, Tue (Wed)
Desired Qualifications
- Semiconductor manufacturing experience preferred
