Job Summary
Manufacturing Specialist 1 leads and manages a production operation focusing on quality, cost, delivery, and safety, with team management of salaried employees and deep expertise in high voltage transformer manufacturing (400 KV+). Responsibilities include overseeing a production facility or unit to meet defined targets, driving continuous improvement, coordinating with other teams, and serving as a customer-facing interface where applicable. Requires 8+ years in power transformer manufacturing, BV/engineering knowledge, and strong communication skills. Shifts and leadership of production associates are expected; relocation assistance is provided.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree / Diploma from an accredited university or college
- Minimum 8+ years of experience in manufacturing in Power transformer industry
- Strong domain knowledge of high voltage (400 KV & above) transformer manufacturing process
- Strong oral and written communication skills
- Ability to document, plan, market, and execute programs
